PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT
TO APPLY FOR GRANT FUNDS
The City of Sherwood will submit a grant applications to the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission and FEMA for the purposes of elevating Jacksonville-Cato Road, and the acquisition/demolition or elevation of two flood-prone properties on June 20, 2014.
The Applications may be viewed at the Central Arkansas Planning and Development office at the address below. Written comments may be sent to: Amanda Adaire, CAPDD, P. O. Box 300, 902 N. Center St., Lonoke, AR 72086. Written comments will be accepted and forwarded to the funding agency from June 20, 2014- July 24, 2014. The Sherwood Police Department is digitizing its crash reports through a partnership with the Carfax Police Crash Assistiance Program. The reports are stored electronically in a secure database and available for purchase online at www.crashdocs.org/ar-sherwoodpd.
